Welcome to Straight Egyptian Horse World!

Knowing that many of us Arabian horse enthusiasts miss the world-renowned forum StraightEgyptians.com (short SE.com) we were reminiscing how we could bring a small piece of the connection between all Arabian horse aficionados back in the spirit of SE.com. Our goal is to give you all the possibility to chat with each other about each and any topic around the Arabian horse, research verified pedigrees worldwide, find out about upcoming events, and so much more. We would like to be known over time as our Connection grows, as one of the sources to find answers about important questions you might have.  We plan amongst other things, on interviewing famous breeders, as well as small boutique farm owners about their daily efforts to keep their passion alive.

Please join us, spread the word, and please contribute in our discussions.  Luckily, one of our members printed out some of the SE.com content and we want to go back and quote some of the questions which were relevant years ago and compare how our members think about the topics today.

Choice of stallion for your mares

I noticed years ago that there were many stallions offered for public stud. It appears that this is not so popular anymore amongst SE breeders.  What could be the reason? I feel it’s a good thing to support fellow breeders by using their stallions, or in respective giving other breeders the opportunity to use your stallion for their mares. What is your main priority choosing a stallion, how easy is it to utilize the stallion of your choice, and what would you like to see happening making it easier for both, stallion and mare owners?
